9th Annual Celtic Street Faire featuring The Elders
Saturday, September 13th, 2025
3:30pm - 9:30pm
This year’s Faire offers our best entertainment lineup yet as our headline band is “The Elders,” a well-known Kansas City Irish band who recorded 10 albums, produced several public television specials, and headlined multiple music festivals across the USA and the Plaza lighting ceremony in KC.
Also performing are the dancers from O’Riada Manning Academy of Irish Dance from Kansas City. The opening musical act is Weston’s own Damian McCarthy, who returns to our event after several years.
Food from several vendors and beverages from several local breweries will be available.
The popular “Whiskey, Beer & Wine Tasting Experience” is available again for patrons wishing to expand their knowledge of those beverages. Tasting area only accessible to Adults 21+ showing proof of ID at $20 per person.

The Pot Still Irish Whiskeys of Midleton tasting event
Join us for a premium whiskey tasting at the Ancient Order of Hibernians’ 8th Annual Celtic Street Faire on September 14, where we’ll discuss and sample some outstanding examples of Midleton’s single pot still brands. We’ll still be holding our public tasting event at Felix Street Square featuring some great whiskeys, wines, and beers, but these special whiskeys will only be available at our premium event.
What is single pot still whiskey? How did it come about? What makes it different from other styles of whiskey? We’ll answer these and other questions you may have, and talk about how Midleton and its owner preserved the style, and to a large extent, Irish whiskey itself.
Here are the whiskeys we’ll be presenting:
Jameson Single Pot Still (not the Jameson you’ll find on the grocery store shelf-this one’s not sold in the US!)
Method & Madness single pot still French Chestnut finish
Powers John’s Lane cask strength (also only available outside the US)
Gold Spot 13 year old Generations Edition
Redbreast Missouri Oak edition (this recently released version of one of the most famous single pot still brands is finished in virgin oak casks from the Ozark mountains)
Check out the Celtic Street Faire page for more information.
