St. Patrick's Day Parade
MARCH 16th, 2024
Beginning at noon the Parade will start at Frederick and Noyes and finish at 8th and Felix. As it has the in the past, the Parade will include floats, Irish music and other entries celebrating their Irish heritage.
The St. Joseph Saint Patrick’s Day Parade born in 1867 and later reborn in 1986 to provide the people of Saint Joseph and the surrounding area an opportunity to celebrate their Irish heritage. In 1997, to keep the original idea of the Parade alive, the Ancient Order of Hibernians began their organization of the Parade and with the help of the people of the area have made it a growing success.

The Hibernians are proud to partner again with Second Harvest Food Bank and their efforts to fight hunger. Parade participants and those watching are encouraged to bring can goods to help in this fight.
We ask all those who attend to use their best judgment in participation during this environment, if you feel unsure about attending; there will always be another parade next year!
If you’re an interested family, business, or political candidate you’re welcomed to enter a float and participate in the Parade. The cost is $75 and the deadline to enter is March 5, 2023.

A Few Simple Rules for A Fun Day!
0 $75 Entry fee.
0 Please use best judgement, if you or anyone in your group feel challenged due to Covid please stay home.
0 Route this year that will be taking a left on 7th St. and then left on Felix. Height restriction of 16 feet because of the Arch on Felix Street.
0 Entries must have an Irish theme! Music Must be of an IRISH NATURE, please!!!
0 Objects, i.e. candy, beads, etc., MAY NOT BE THROWN from any entry. Distributing while walking is acceptable.
0 Alcohol is not permitted on or with any entry. Rules are rules.
0 The parade committee will assign each entry a spot the day of the parade and we reserve the right to refuse any entry. Irish families will line up in the front followed by commercial and Best Bar floats. Horses to the back, please!
